Hoosiers Outrun Cancer by the Numbers

As the Foundation celebrates 50 years of making an impact, Hoosiers Outrun Cancer celebrated its 18th running this year – and oh the impact it makes! Over $3 million has been raised for the IU Health Olcott Center and cancer-related services since the inception of the race.

Hoosiers Outrun Cancer accounts for 60% of the Olcott Center’s operating funds. The runners, walkers, spirit runners and volunteers – more than 5,000 people this year!  – help ensure the center can offer its services in our community free of charge.

2017 Hoosiers Outrun Cancer by the Numbers:

The Bloomington Hospital Foundation extends a HUGE thank you to the participants, volunteers, event sponsors, corporate partners, and Mother Nature, who all helped to make this year’s event a success. See you next fall for the running of the 19th Hoosiers Outrun Cancer.
