Corporate Giving and Event Sponsorship

Making an Impact through Corporate Giving

Over the years, the support of local businesses to the Bloomington Hospital Foundation has been instrumental in the Foundation’s many successes in assuring preeminent local healthcare.

Corporate Giving has accounted for nearly one fourth of philanthropic donations to the Foundation each year over the last half decade. Without the generosity of our Corporate Giving Partners – companies like yours, much of what we have accomplished would not have been possible.

Impacts Already Made

  • Hoosiers Outrun Cancer: A favorite community event since 1999 has raised over $2.5 million in support of the IU Health Olcott Center for Cancer.
  • The Helipad: Constructed within 100 feet of the Emergency Department doors – saving critical, lifesaving minutes.
  • Volunteers in Medicine: Since 2007 offers free medical care to individuals in Monroe and Owen County.
  • Advanced Cardiac Catheterization: Nearly 4,000 patients benefit annually from the cutting edge cardiac catheterization lab.
  • Digital Mammography Units: The purchase of this equipment had made it possible for radiologists to find cancer at an earlier stage. Early detection means a better chance of survival.
  • Hospice House: More than 600 patients and their families are touched by this facility each year. The Hospice House has the essential resources to care for acute patients with comfort and compassion at the end of life’s journey.

Making an Impact on your Company

Giving to the Bloomington Hospital Foundation through the Corporate Partners program or Event Sponsorship offers a whole host of recognition rewards. But the rewards do not stop with donor recognition.

Your company will benefit by simply being involved in the caring spirit of philanthropy. Your employees will recognize and take pride in your commitment to the community. And the community will also take notice – and recognize your company for its invaluable support of our hospital and local healthcare.

Please consider joining with the Bloomington Hospital Foundation by becoming a Corporate Partner or Event Sponsor. For more information on the ways your company can make an impact, please contact us at 812.353.9528.

Event Sponsorship: Giving levels and benefits

Several of our Corporate Partners get excited about a cause or event – we do too! Here you’ll find out “big 4” events, the various sponsorship options available and the benefits that go along with them.

100 Men Who Cook is hosted in partnership with Old National Bank. Each year in late spring, this popular event features 100+ local chefs whipping up their best dishes for a good cause.

Year in and year out, Hoosiers Outrun Cancer is a favorite community event. Over the years, it has raised over $2.75 million in support of the IU Health Olcott Center. The event absolutely could not take place without the generous support of our Corporate Event Sponsors.

Each December, the IU Health Children’s Therapy Center (CTC) hosts the Snowflake Festival, a holiday event designed specifically to meet the needs of the families and children served by the center. There are crafts, games, food, a visit with Santa, and walk around costume characters. It is a very meaningful holiday event for patients, families, volunteers and staff.

Annual Gala
The Foundation’s Annual Gala is held in December each year and is attended by more than 400 guests. The Gala supports the Foundation’s campaign of the year and your generous sponsorship would do the same.

The Bloomington Hospital Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization. All gifts are tax deductible by law. All donations are used for the continued improvement of the hospital’s facilities, equipment, programs and services.
