The Bloomington Hospital Foundation has a Grants Program and every dollar funded goes directly to improve the quality of care for IU Health Bloomington Hospital patients and the health and well-being of our community as a whole.
In addition to grant writing, our dedicated staff member can help locate new opportunities for funding and assist with award nominations. Editing services are also available to ensure a cleanly presented proposal. Our philosophy is that grant proposal writing is always a collaborative process and we work with our partners, who are the content experts, to manage the application from draft to submission, while keeping the team on schedule.
“The grant writing process can be very tedious and time consuming. The support of the Grant Writer through the Foundation has been a great benefit to Community Health. Often, potential grants or awards are identified through this position. Support is provided to write and or edit the submission and gather appropriate documentation. This extra support has helped us attain funding to provide additional programming and resources for the community.”
~ Carol Weiss-Kennedy, Director of Community Health, IU Health Bloomington Hospital
